Intel teams launch statewide survey on implementation of new govt schemes

HYDERABAD: With almost all political parties and senior leaders commissioning private agencies for conducting surveys on the trends and prospects ahead of the ensuing general elections, and not to be found wanting, intelligence officials have reportedly formed special teams, which will be deputed to the rural areas to get a feedback on the new schemes and policies of the state government.

The government introduced several new schemes in the last two months, each of which provides financial assistance to different sections of people and communities. As opposition parties have come out with serious allegations with regard to the implementation of schemes, intelligence teams have focussed on the people's opinion by meeting genuine beneficiaries, especially in rural areas.

Sources said that the teams were directed to collect ground reports from people living in rural areas across all Assembly constituencies.

The intelligence officials reportedly approached several mee seva centers, revenue officials and applicants of shaadi mubarak, kalyana laxmi, dalit bandhu, rythu Bandhu, aasara pensions, Rs one lakh for BCs and minorities, Rs one lakh loan waiver for farmers and enhancement of pension amount for the differently abled.

"After collecting these details we will submit a comprehensive report on any misuse in rural localities," sources said.

It was reported that when the intelligence officials went to villages, people did not hesitate to complain about violations in the sanction of 2BHK houses to eligible candidates.

Meanwhile, some political leaders have done their own surveys on the ruling party's failures.
