Four Bellampalli Congress ticket aspirants begin joint padayatra

ADILABAD: Four Congress leaders aspiring for the party ticket from Bellampalli assembly constituency in Mancherial district have jointly begun their padayatra in the constituency.

Nasari Swamy, Vemula Krishna, Rodda Sharada and Mudumadugula Mahender are going about exposing the failures of the autocratic BRS government. They are pointing out how BRS party and its leaders have failed in fulfilling the promises they made to people in the past nine years.

Former Congress MLC and party police affairs committee member K. Premsagar Rao has also launched his padayatra from Devapur town in Kasipet mandal of Bellampalli constituency.

Speaking on the occasion, Premsagar Rao expressed confidence that Congress party will come to power in Telangana after the next elections and do justice for all sections of people, including industrial workers, like those of the local Orient cement factory.

Congress leader and former minister Gaddam Vinod is also a strong contender for the party ticket from the Bellampalli. He had contested the last assembly elections on the BSP ticket but got defeated, though with less margin of votes.
