K Chandrasekhar Rao is ruining Telangana, says Gaddam Vivek
Hyderabad: BJP leader Gaddam Vivek accused the Kalvakuntla family of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao of ruining Telangana state. “The BJP has a good future in Telangana state and I have joined it to participate in the building of a new India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said.
Mr Vivek joined the BJP on Friday in the presence of party president Amit Shah.
He quit the TRS after being denied a nomination to contest the Lok Sabha elections. He was accompanied by TS BJP president K. Laxman and former union minister Bandaru Dattatreya when he spoke to the media at the BJP state headquarters here.
“The BJP vision is to work for people and the TRS vision is to loot the people. KCR is involved in caste politics for his vote bank and this will not go far as people have understood his intention of fooling them,” Mr Vivek said.
He added that more leaders from the TRS and the Congress will be joining the BJP in the coming days. A senior leader said that Mr Vivek’s brother G. Vinod will also join the BJP.
On Monday, 200 Congress activists with former legislator Kondeti Sridhar and TRS Bellampally municipality cou-nsellor Rajulal Yadav joined the BJP. Dr Laxman welcomed them and urged them to work for the welfare of people.
