Hyderabad: TRS legislators including agriculture minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy on Saturday said Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao was a “people’s engineer”, with clear ideas on improving irrigation facilities. He knew each and every inch of the land due to his rich experience in public life of 40 years, they said.
Mr Srinivas Reddy said, “KCR along with late irrigation adviser Vidyasagar Rao and Prof. A. Jayashankar had toured the region and knows the injustices done on irrigation projects. He knew what had to be done after coming to power, and is doing what he expected to do,” he said.
He said the Congress and TD ministers were only interested in earning commissions.
