Thiruvananthapuram: CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has cautioned the party workers against planned attacks by RSS-BJP to divert attention of people from the good works being done by the LDF Government. He said the RSS and BJP are living in a fool’s paradise if they think the CPM could be weakened through such murderous attacks. “The murderous attack was carried out with the knowledge of top BJP leaders,” Kodiyeri alleged.
The CPM state secretary said the attacks were being planned with the devious design of destabilising the LDF government. “There is an attempt to create trouble across the state. The violence is being deliberately unleashed to show that there is complete collapse of law and order under LDF rule,” he said.
Kodiyeri said the RSS-BJP was acting as per the script of its national leadership which wants to create trouble to pave the way for imposition of President’s rule in the state. “We will mobilise people to expose Sangh Parivar design and defeat it,” the CPM leader said.
He said four CPM workers had been killed in different attacks very recently. Even Congress and Muslim League were unleashing violence in many parts of the state. Nearly 50 party offices had been ransacked and over 100 party workers had sustained injuries in these attacks.
