KARIMNAGAR: BRS MLC Padi Koushik Reddy narrowly escaped from a road accident when the car he was travelling lost control in saving a person coming on a motorbike in the opposite direction at Thadikal village of Shankarapatnam mandal in Karimnagar district on Monday.
Koushik Reddy was going to Huzurabad from Hyderabad to participate in the 2-K run organised as part of the Telangana Decennial celebrations. When his car reached Thadikal village, a person coming on a motorbike in the opposite direction tried to hit the car.
The car driver to save the person turned the car to the roadside into the fields and lost control but saved both the persons from a major road accident.
With the opening of airbags present in the car Koushik Reddy survived without receiving any injuries whereas, the biker who sustained injuries in the accident was shifted to the government hospital in Huzurabad.
Later, Koushik Reddy reached Huzurabad in the escort vehicle and participated in the 2-K run organised by the police department.
