Mysuru: Hitting back at BJP leader Govind Karjol's statement criticising the resort stay of Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, Tourism Minister JD (S) leader Sa Ra Mahesh said that the JD (S) had done better than the BJP when it was in power.
The CM had taken six rooms, each room (with a private pool) costing Rs 56,320 for two nights at Ibnii luxury resort at Ibnivalavadi Village at Boikeri, in Madikeri taluk in Kodagu from Friday night till Sunday morning. He later headed to Mandya to attend a function (Beegara oota-wedding lunch) and refused to speak to the media.
The minister also predicted a revolution in the country after May 23 claiming the BJP would lose power and a new government will be installed at the Centre.
