YSRC MLA Ramakrishna Reddy alleges wastage

Mr Reddy alleged that the TD government was wasting the public money to benefit the contractors.

Guntur: YSRC leader alleged wasting of the public money in the name of temporary capital. YSRC MLA of Mangalagiri A. Ramakrishna Reddy alleged that the TD government was benefiting the contractors by allowing excess price for temporary capital construction.

He claimed that temporary capital can be constructed with Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,200 per square feet but the government is sanctioning Rs 3,500 to Rs 4,000 per square feet and alleged that by allowing excess, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, CRDA vice-chairman and minister for municipal administration P. Narayana and others are getting money in the temporary capital deal. Recalling about the increase of temporary capital to 45 acres from earlier proposed 20 acres,

Mr Reddy alleged that the TD government was wasting the public money to benefit the contractors. He said that Hyderabad can be used as joint capital for 10 years and TD government is claiming construction of new capital Amaravati in two years and questioned the need for construction of temporary capital.
