TS cong. intensifies digital membership drive

The target is to have at least 15,000 members on board from each mandal, around 50,000 in an Assembly constituency

Hyderabad: In keeping with its target of 30-lakh digital membership drive by the Republic Day, the Congress party has appointed enrollers for all the 34,765 polling booths across the state. The target is to enroll at least 100 members in each booth.

Apart from party workers and cadre, even senior leaders are enthusiastically participating in the mission to enroll new members. The target is to have at least 15,000 members on board from each mandal, around 50,000 in an Assembly constituency and nearly 3.5 lakh in every parliamentary constituency.

TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy is confident that the target would be achieved. A grand celebration will mark the enrollment of 30 lakh members. Workers and cadre members, who mobilise the maximum number of new members, would be felicitated on the occasion.

However, if the target of 30 lakh members is not achieved by January 26, then the AICC would be urged to extend the deadline, party sources said.
