K Chandrasekhar Rao vows Gajwel’s welfare

Rao proposed conducting an in-depth, village-wise survey across the constituency to identify its needs to develop Gajwel into a model constituency.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister, K. Chandrasekhar Rao, on Wednesday asked officials to launch the much-awaited health profile programme from Gajwel constituency at the earliest.

While speaking at the Mahathi auditorium after its inauguration in Gajwel on Wednesday, Rao proposed conducting an in-depth, village-wise survey across the constituency to identify its needs to develop Gajwel into a model constituency.

He said the government will implement various programmes in the constituency based on the survey and ensure that people do not complain about the lack of facilities in his constituency.

He said “The economic slowdown in the country has affected the state as well. But we will overcome the hurdles to develop Gajwel constituency over next a few months into a model constituency.” He said that he will conduct an extensive meeting with all the elected representatives of Gajwel constituency soon to review the constituency development and make efforts to fulfill all electoral promises.

He said the government will implement various schemes in the constituency based on the survey and ensure that people do not complain about lack of facilities in his constituency. Rao said the constituency will be developed into a self-sustained, self-ruled and self-modelled constituency, setting an example for others. He asked the officials to take up aromatic and herbal plantations in about 7,500 acres of forest land in Kondapaka mandal of the constituency.

Earlier, Rao inaugurated the newly-constructed buildings of the Forest College and Research Institute, and also Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticulture University at Mulugu in Gajwel constituency. He also inaugurated an integrated marketyard and an integrated office complex and also laid the foundation stones for an underground drainage system, and also Mother and Child Care Hospital.
