Alappuzha: Alappuzha MP K. C. Venugopal on Saturday said he did not get justice from the solar judicial commission. He was speaking at a press conference here on the report which has charged him with rape and extortion. “I am being attacked without examining the facts. She (Saritha) had written not just one letter. Media had reported that there was another letter which she had produced before the court and there were many statements recorded by the police. None of them was considered by the commission. The commission says in the report that one letter can be considered but another can’t be. How is it possible?’, Venugopal asked.
‘There were media reports that Sarita had given digital evidence to the commission. But what I understood from the report is that only a letter and some call records were produced as proof against me. Even after four years, no clinching evidence has been produced. The commission had made no findings or any recommendation against me. But it included the letter as a means to defame me’, he said.
