Naidu Supporters Call Travel' Stir

Hyderabad: The supporters of AP former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday called for a ‘travel protest’ at 10.30 am on the Metro Rail trains to protest his arrest in an alleged scam. According to the call, which is circulating on social media, protesters must travel in the Metro Rail trains on Saturday at 10.30 on the Miyapur-LB Nagar route wearing a black dress or black T- shirt.

Asked about the protest, HMRL managing director N.V.S. Reddy said, “We were not aware about this. We have alerted our officers because such political activities are not entertained on the Metro Rail premises.”
