Oommen Chandy should be punished, says Saritha S Nair
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: "I firmly stand by all the allegations mentioned in my letter and am not concerned over Oommen Chandy's political career. One who was party to a crime along with me should be exposed, especially since he is a public worker. He is also bound to receive the punishment for that," Saritha S. Nair has said.
Confirming that the name of Mr Chandy, former chief minister, was mentioned in her letter, she expressed gratitude to chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan for doing justice to her. She felt proud as the allegations levelled by her were considered, she added.
"I am thankful to the LDF government, especially Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan, as the solar commission report did not remain under the carpet like many other judicial commission reports in the past. I am happy that I got the consideration as a woman," she said.
