Adilabad: Adilabad MLA Jogu Ramanna on Wednesday said that he would follow Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and continue his association with the TRS.
He condemned the news that had appeared in the media that he had gone silent because of the disappointment of not getting a berth in the recent Cabinet expansion.
Speaking to the media, Mr Ramanna said, “I had switched off my cellphone on the advice of my doctor as I had high BP.”
He added, “I began my political career as sarpanch and reached to the level of a minister. For a senior politician like me, expecting a ministry is wrong.”
Mr Ramanna became emotional while briefing the press and was unable to control his disappointment over not being given a ministry.
