Mr Venkata Reddy said he and his brother were humiliated at the training camp on Saturday at the behest of TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy.
Hyderabad: Senior Congress MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Monday said neither he nor his MLC brother Rajagopal Reddy had any plans to quit the Congress despite open invitations from other parties.
They may have to think of alternatives if the party announces that the TPCC leadership would not be changed, he said.
Mr Venkata Reddy said he and his brother were humiliated at the training camp on Saturday at the behest of TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy.
He said though he was a senior legislator and had quit the Cabinet for statehood, “the present leadership has decided to humiliate me.” He said the Congress had not strengthened under Mr Uttam Kumar Reddy.
