N Chandrababu Naidu demands Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s resignation or apology
Vijayawada: Castigating the YSR Congress for not allowing the Opposition Telugu Desam legislators to speak in the Assembly session on several issues and also making false claims and targetting their party activists, TD supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu demanded that Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy should quit or tender an apology to the five crore people in the state.
The TD supremo alleged that their party legislators were being denied the opportunity to represent the people’s problems in the Assembly and flayed the YSR Congress legislators for getting into the habit of making false claims on several issues.
Mr Naidu expressed displeasure over the way the YSR Congress activists were resorting to violence and targetting the TD supporters and alleged that a home guard was threatened at Prakasam district while a scribe was abused in Nellore district by the YSR Congress supporters.
TD supremo said that the CM lacked knowledge on certain subjects and advised him to first learn about the issues.
Referring to CM’s remarks on rescheduling of farm loans after notification of mandals affected by drought, the TD supremo wondered as to how this would happen and blamed the ministers and legislators for supporting the CM without verifying the facts.
He said, “Jagan’s age is less than my political experience” and advised the ruling YSRC legislators to behave properly in the Assembly session befitting the stature of the legislature.
He said that the people in the state were regretting electing Jagan as the CM of the state.
