THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC president V. M. Sudheeran has alleged that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's legal advisor M. K. Damodaran had appeared for lottery baron Santiago Martin with the knowledge of the CM. “It is clear that the chief minister had consented to Mr Damodaran’s appearance,” he said here on Monday.
The government was loyal to Martin, he alleged and said Mr Damodaran had given scant regard to the stiff opposition from several quarters. “It is surprising that the LDF government is giving more importance to Santiago Martin than to the state and the people,” he said. The LDF government’s claim of working against corruption has been proved wrong, he added.
