HYDERABAD: BJP leaders set up ‘missing MLA’ flexis in Bodhan town of Nizamabad district on Thursday, asking for the whereabouts of local BRS legislator Shakil Amer.
BJP leaders said that Amer had assured farmers of the purchase of paddy soaked in untimely rains in Bodhan constituency but was not available in the constituency for over a fortnight.
BRS leaders immediately removed all flexis. BRS town president Ravinder Yadav said that the BJP and Congress leaders were defaming Amer.
The MLA had taken the soaked paddy issue to the notice of the state government and district administration, he said. The official machinery would take care of paddy procurement.
