KTR's Adilabad meeting on March 14 called off

Already, party MLAs and ministers are organising constituency-level preparatory meetings for Mr Rama Rao's public meetings for the elections.

Adilabad: TRS working president K.T. Rama Rao’s Adilabad public meeting scheduled on March 14 has been cancelled, after the party reworked his election schedule. Party president and Chief Minsister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will lead the party’s campaign for the Lok Sabha polls. Sources said the move was partly prompted by Mr Rama Rao’s first public meeting in Karimnagar being strongly rebutted by Congress leader Ponnam Prabhakar.

Endowment minister Indrakaran Reddy and former minister Jogu Ramanna had jointly inspected the arrangements two days ago for Mr Rama Rao’s meeting in Adilabad, and discussed the issue of mobilising people for the meeting.
