Mysuru: Congress will lose heavily in state, says V Srinivasprasad
Mysuru: Warning that the Congress would lose as heavily in Karnataka as it had done in UP and the north east, veteran leader V. Srinivasprasad, who recently joined the BJP, said on Saturday that going by a survey state BJP chief B.S. Yeddyurappa stood the highest chance of becoming the next CM of the state.
While Mr H D Kumaraswamy of the JD(S) had the second highest chance, CM Siddaramaiah came in a poor third, he claimed.
Addressing Swabhimani Sammilana Samavesha, where 350 of his supporters joined the BJP, he vowed to use his experience to organise the BJP in Mysuru and Chamarajnagar. Claiming that the CM’s style of administration had not won him any respect, he noted that even senior Congress leaders like Sharief wanted to know if there was a Congress government or a Siddaramaiah government.“Janardhan Poojary has said there is no administration in the state. And S M Krishna believes they only want managers not leaders. The Congress will not prosper as long as Siddaramaiah is at the helm of affairs,” he said.
