Larger conspiracy behind KT Rama Rao's loafer comment, says Dr Sravan Dasoju
Hyderabad: PCC chief spokesperson Dr Sravan Dasoju said on Sunday that there is a larger conspiracy behind TRS minister K.T. Rama Rao’s derogatory comments against the Congress, calling it a ‘loafer’ party.
He had written an open letter to Mr Rama Rao that was released to mediapersons on Sunday. It said that Mr Rama Rao’s comments are not spontaneous but part of a well-hatched conspiracy of the TRS and the BJP.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had condemned the very formation of Telangana state and even ridiculed the statehood movement. Despite being in Lok Sabha at that time, TRS MPs did not protest and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao too remained silent on the PM’s remarks.
“KCR was afraid of PM Modi as he might unleash CBI against him in the Sahara Group case and other cases,” Mr Sravan said. He said that despite being an ally in the NDA and Central government, the TD members stalled the proceedings of Parliament, alleging injustice to Andhra Pradesh. But TRS MPs did not speak a word against Mr Modi on the injustice done to Telangana in the Union Budget.
“TRS MPs’ silence and K.T. Rama Rao’s utterances on Congress clearly show that there is a tacit understanding between the TRS and the BJP,” Mr Sravan alleged.
