Vijayawada: Telugu Desam senior leader and former minister Alapati Rajendra Prasad on Thursday slammed YSR Congress government after Andhra Pradesh High Court granted anticipatory bail to TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu in the inner ring road, excise policy and sand mining cases.
He underlined conclusion of the High Court that the state government has failed to provide any evidence in the inner ring road case.
Accusing YSRC of making a mockery of democracy, the TD leader pointed out that the state government had filed a false case against Naidu with regard to the sand policy, when the reality is that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and his leaders are looting sand and transporting it to neighbouring states.
Referring to the court stating that no evidence has been produced against Chandrababu Naidu, Rajendra Prasad accused YSRC of denigrating the judicial system by filing false cases. He maintained that people across the state are aware of how Jagan Mohan Reddy is misusing and using judiciary as a weapon.
