Vijayawada: Chief Minister and YSRC president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy released the third list of 21 coordinators for six MP seats and 15 Assembly constituencies.
The list came after the CM held discussions with several legislators including ministers at the Tadepalli office till late into Thursday night.
The first list had 11 names and the second list 27. With the third list of 21 names, the Chief Minister has released the names of coordinators for 59 constituencies. Jagan Mohan Reddy will be releasing the fourth list in a couple of days.
Education minister Botsa Satyanarayana and government adviser Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy released the third list. Satyanaryana’s wife Botsa Jhansi Lakshmi has been appointed for the Vizag MP seat. Rebel MP Kesineni Srinivas alias Nani, who resigned from Telugu Desam, has got the Vijayawada MP seat.
Minister Gummanuru Jayaram has been shifted to the Kurnool Lok Sabha seat as coordinator. Chippagiri ZPTC member gets Kurnool Assembly seat, Busani Virupakshi Aluru Assembly segment.
Present Tirupati MP Maddila Gurumurthy has failed to retain his seat. The YSRC chief has appointed MLA Koneti Adimulam as Tirupati MP seat coordinator. In another interesting change, minister Karumuri Venkata Nageswara Rao’s son Karumuri Sunil Kumar Yadav has been appointed Eluru MP segment coordinator. Srikakulam MP segment coordinator is Perada Tilak.
Coming to Assembly segments, the Chief Minister has shifted Minister Jogi Ramesh to Penamaluru Assembly segment from Pedana. Sitting YSRC MLA Kolusu Parthasarathy is unhappy over the development and is planning to join the Telugu Desam. Uppala Ramu has been appointed as the coordinator for Pedana.
Piriya Vijaya has been appointed to Ichchapuram Assembly constituency, YSRC MLC Duvvada Srinivas to Tekkali, Kamabam Vijaya Raju to Chinthalapudi (SC), Mettu Govind Reddy to Rayadurgam and former MLA Buchepalli Srinivas Reddy to Darsi, setting aside present MLA Maddisetty Venugopal.
Muthirevula Sunil Kumar has got Puthalapattu (SC) replacing YSRC sitting MLA M.S. Babu. Vijayananda Reddy gets Chittoor and Nissar Ahmad Madanapalli replacing MLA Nawaz Basha. Rajampeta goes to Akepati Amaranth Reddy and Aluru to B. Virupakshi.
Dr. Sathish has been appointed to Kodumuru (SC) and Merugu Murali to Gudur (SC). Present Tirupati MP Maddila Gurumoorthy moves to the Assembly as coordinator of Satyavedu (SC) constituency.
