Thiruvananthapuram: NCP national general secretary Tariq Anwar on Friday said that action would be taken if any lapse is found on the part of transport minister Thomas Chandy in connection with the lake reclamation issue.
The NCP leader said the possibility of a political conspiracy behind the allegations that had surfaced against the minister could not be ruled out at this stage. However, this has to be examined by the state unit of the party and appropriate decision has to be taken at the level of state leadership.
