HYDERABAD: Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Karimnagar Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Thursday launched a vociferous attack on the BRS, and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao calling the party ‘Brashtachar Rakshas Samithi’, and declaring “just as an anthill is taken over by a venomous snake, one family has taken over Telangana state”.
Attacking the BRS chief, Sanjay Kumar called the Chief Minister “Qasim Chandrashekar Rizvi”, who, he said “destroyed Telangana. This BRS leader has just one job, raat bhar peeta, din bhar sota, kisise bhi nahin milta, yeh hai desh ka neta (Drink all night, sleep all day, not meeting anyone…this is our country’s leader)”.
Sanjay Kumar, taking part in the discussion on the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Narendra Modi government in the Lok Sabha, said, “Leaders of parties who have lost confidence of the people have introduced the no-confidence motion. The fact is they have no clarity on why they introduced the motion. Yeh Congy, Bengal didi, Delhi crazy, Bihar JD, aur Telangana KD, cannot do anything to the Modi government. Under Modi’s leadership and the NDA government, India is emerging as a powerful nation.”
Sanjay Kumar said the wealth of Chandrashekar Rao’s family multiplied manifold from the time he came to power. His son’s wealth increased by 400 times, his wife’s wealth rose by 1,800 per cent. The real surprise is that the average income of a farmer in Telangana state is Rs 1,12,836 but KCR’s agriculture income is Rs 1 crore, that of KTR’s farming income is Rs 59,85,000. These are several thousand times more than what an average farmer makes. Farmers in Telangana state are losing heavily.”
“And Rahul Gandhi has no clue what he does, one time he winks, another time it is a hug, yet again he throws a flying kiss. He has turned into Ghazni. It is laughable that other parties have joined the Congress in which Rahul Gandhi is a leader,” he said.
Sanjay Kumar who said the BRS, Congress and the MIM were together in Parliament and supported the no-confidence motion, act as if they are at loggerheads in Telangana state. “The Congress is finished in Telangana state, they did not win deposits in Dubbak, Huzurabad, and Munugode, has been driven out of GHMC. There is no Congress either in the galli, or in Delhi. A vote for the Congress is a vote for the BRS. The Congress, BRS, and the MIM are triplets, they are the same. Any development in Telangana state is only possible with a double engine sarkar,” he said.
Taking on the BRS floor leader in the Lok Sabha Nama Nageswara Rao, Sanjay said, “If Rao can prove that farmers in Telangana state are getting 24 hours of free power, I will resign from the Lok Sabha. If I can prove that the BRS claim is wrong, will the BRS MPs quit?”
The BJP MP said the Centre has provided more than Rs 5 lakh crore to Telangana state, and another Rs 9.60 lakh crore as loans. The state government stole funds given by Centre for buildings for toilets for women in Telangana state. They looted money from Mission Bhagiratha designed for Rs 4,000 crore by inflating it to Rs 40,000 crore. Free ration supplied by the Centre was sold by BRS leaders, he said.
