Hyderabad: Congress working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Sunday asked TRS leaders to respond on the issues raised by party leader Digvijay Singh, instead of resorting to political mudslinging.
Criticising ministers T. Harish Rao and K.T. Rama Rao for describing the Congress as a party identified with ‘family rule’, he said, “Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi never opted for posts in the Union government during 10 years of ithe party rule. Mrs Gandhi made Manmohan Singh as PM while Rahul rema-ined just as an MP. But look at your party. KCR is the CM, his son and nephew are ministers. What moral right do you have to speak against Sonia and Rahul?"
Instead of implementing its poll promises like 2BHK houses and three-acre land for dalits, he said the government is pushing for Mission Bhageeratha, Mission Kakatiya and redesigning of irrigation projects to make crores of money by awarding contractors to people of your choice within a short period.
