VISAKHAPATNAM: TD state president K. Atchennaidu said the Polavaram project was completed by 74 per cent during the TD regime led by Chandrababu Naidu. He said the YSRC members were stalling the visit of TD workers to the project site, fearing the truth would come out.
“It was during the TD regime that people were taken to the project site in an RTC bus. I don’t know why Jagan Mohan Reddy was scared by the visit of the TD workers,” Atchennaidu said.
He said if Jagan Mohan Reddy had the guts, let him take a team of all party leaders to the project site. Challenging that TD leaders would definitely visit the Polavaram site, Atchennaidu said people would dump this government in the Bay of Bengal in the next elections.
Seeking one chance to rule the state, Jagan Mohan Reddy led the state to a disaster, Atchennaidu said.
After coming to power, the TD government would expose the corruption and distribute the ill-gotten money to the poor, the TD state president said.
