Vijayawada: CPM national general secretary Sitaram Yechury on Wednesday said the party state committee would look into the issue of possible alliance with the Jana Sena in AP in 2019.
Responding to a query at “Meet The Press” here, he said politics is not simple arithmetic and fielding a common candidate for the presidential election would be a preamble for the formation of “Maha Ghatbandhan”.
He lambasted the Union Government for escaping from its promises of providing employment to two crore people every year and added that loan waiver is not the only solution to farmers’ problems.
