New political party for Bahujans to be launched in AP

VIJAYAWADA: A new political party would be launched in AP in the coming days to “ensure social justice” for all sections of the people, mainly the BCs, SCs, STs and Minorities.

Various leaders from across the state gathered here and briefed the media about their plans for the launch of the new party. Noted BC leader Anna Ramchandra Yadav said the Bahujan in the state were deprived of political power.

“Only with political power can the lives of the Bahujans flourish. To overcome the disparity in the society, we would launch a new party and announce its name and agenda at a programme in Vijayawada very soon,” he said.

He said the Bahujans formed 80 per cent of the population. Another leader, Murali Krishna, said the ruling YSRC and opposition Telugu Desam have ruined the state. “The weaker sections are becoming much weaker.”

VGR Naragoni, Paluri Ramakrishnaiah, A Veera, PV Ramanaiah and some 150 other leaders of BC, SC, ST, and Minority communities were present.
