RSS, Bajrang Dal and BJP are terrorists, says Siddaramaiah

Amit Shah also slammed the Congress over the Income Tax raids on Energy Minister D.K. Shivakumar.

Bengaluru-Mysuru: The battlelines are being clearly drawn for the fast approaching Assembly polls with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and BJP national president Amit Shah making no-holds barred attacks on each other on Wednesday.

While Shah accused the CM and his ministers of pocketing money released by the Modi government at the Centre for developmental programmes over the last four -and- a- half years, Mr Siddaramaiah went several steps further calling the RSS, Bajrang Dal and BJP men "terrorists.

The BJP chief was addressing a public rally in Holalkere in Chitradurga while the CM was launching developmental projects in Chamarajnagar.

"The RSS, Bajrang Dal and BJP are terrorists. Whichever organisation it may be, whether SDPI, PFI or RSS , Bajrang Dal or VHP, our government will not tolerate it if anyone indulges in terrorism and communalism," the CM thundered.

Mr Shah gave enough indications to his party cadre about the direction the BJP's poll campaign should take, asking aloud, “Have you ever got a costly gift like a Rs 70 lakh worth watch? No. But CM, Siddaramaiah gets one because he helps businessmen,” he charged, raking up the Hublot watch controversy. He also slammed the Congress over the Income Tax raids on Energy Minister D.K. Shivakumar.
