KPCC president MM Hassan wants case filed against Pinarayi
Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC president M.M. Hassan on Wednesday demanded registering a case against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan under the prevention of corruption act, for misusing Ockhi relief fund to attend the party conference in Thrissur.
The government funds have been used for party requirements. The Chief Minister has directly indulged in corruption worth Rs 8 lakh, he added.
The explanation of Chief Minister's office that it was not aware of the sanctioning of amount from disaster fund was wrong. The copy of the order was marked to chief minister's private secretary, revenue minister's private secretary and other officials concerned. This was evident from the order itself, he said.
Hassan said the Chief Minister’s office was telling a white lie and they are trying to make officials scapegoat.
