Vijayawada: Speaking to media here on Saturday, she referred to the raid by Income Tax department on the house of Congress Rajya Sabha member Dheeraj Sahu, where they found unaccountable cash of around ₹200 crore.
Purandeswari disclosed that IT officials are continuing their raids on the Rajya Sabha member’s relatives in Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and other states.
The BJP state president said all political parties in the INDIA bloc are corrupt. For instance, she said, IT officials have found ₹50 crore at the house of West Bengal minister Chatterjee’s house and ₹200 crore from businessman Piyush Jain’s house in UP.
Purandeswari asked people to teach a lesson to Congress and other opposition parties’ leaders in the coming elections and support the BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which stands for development and welfare.
