Bandi Sanjay criticises KCR, says he failed to implement promises

Adilabad: Former BJP state president Bandi Sanjay has criticised the BRS government led by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for its “failure” to protect women, save the lives of farmers and in the leakage of question papers for various examinations held by the TS-PSC.

Speaking at the Jana Garjana Sabha here on Tuesday, Sanjay said the Congress winning the election in Karnataka with “false” promises was just a “trial.” The Congress that made big promises and was finding it difficult to implement those in Karnataka, he said.

He said Rao had made Telangana a debt-ridden state. TS has a debt burden of Rs 5 lakh crore. The Congress, MIM and BRS hoped to share power in the state, he claimed, and added that the BJP would take action against those involved in the attack on a Hindu youth in Bhainsa “once we come to power in TS.”

He said the BJP would win five seats in the erstwhile Adilabad district.

The BJP leader sought protection for Chandrashekar Rao if there was a threat to his life. He expressed concern over the CM’s health as “KCR is not coming into the public domain for a while now.”

There was a huge response to Sanjay’s appearance on the dais. During his speech, youths raised slogans, “CM and CM.”
