HYDERABAD: BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Sunday alleged that the TRS government had done injustice to the economically backward class (EBC) candidates in police recruitment. In a letter to Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, he demanded that cut off marks should be decreased for EBC candidates on par with that for SC, ST, BC candidates.
In the supplementary notification, the TS Police Recruitment Board had decreased the cut-off marks for SC, ST and BC community candidates but had not done so for the EBC candidates, he said. This decision was putting EBC candidates along with general category candidates, he explained.
