BJP leader wants all Seema MLAs to resign

Ananthapur: BJP leader T.G. Venkatesh demanded that all MLAs hailing from Rayalaseema should resign on a single point of developing the Rayalaseema region. Only such a move can mount pressure on the state government, he remarked.

Venkatesh was addressing a meeting with intellectuals that BJP had convened in Kurnool on Sunday over issues plaguing the Rayalaseema region. He accused the YSRC government of ignoring the backward region.

Referring to the BJP supporting Amaravati as the sole capital of AP ignoring the Sribagh pact, Venkatesh pointed out that Kurnool had been ignored as the capital of Andhra Pradesh even when AP was formed with Hyderabad as the capital.
The BJP leader observed that BRS party of Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao can never be a competitor for BJP in the country.

Another BJP leader Vishnuvardhan Reddy regretted that posters had come up in AP in favour of BRS. He underlined that both YSRC and TRS are in match-fixing for gaining political advantage.
