APJAC chairman Bandi Srinivasa Rao refuted allegations that Sajjala was controlling employee unions

VIJAYAWADA: The joint action committee (JAC) for government employees demanded that the state government announce implementation of the 11th Pay Revision Commission (PRC) recommendations with 55 per cent fitment as a Dasara gift to them, and to clear the dues of seven dearness allowance and the PRC by Sankranti next year.

Addressing a press meet here on Saturday, Bandi Srinivas Rao, APJAC chairman and APNGOs Association president, said they are ready to launch protests against the government to press for their demands.

Srinivas Rao refuted allegations that government public affairs adviser Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy was controlling employees unions and organisations by calling their leaders on phone. He clarified that Ramakrishna Reddy had called them on the phone to explain the efforts of the government towards resolving issues of the employees.

Srinivas Rao stated that Ramakrishna Reddy was working like a coordinator between employees and government.

APJAC-Amaravati chairman Bopparaju Venkateswarlu refuted the allegations levelled by other employee associations, and asked them to work towards getting employee grievances resolved. He said that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy had instructed officials to address employee issues but sadly the finance minister and senior finance ministry officials were unavailable to do so which was creating unrest.

Srinivas Rao and Venkateswarlu aso demanded that the government pay salaries in time, cancel the comprehensive financial management system (CFMS), provide best medical treatment through employees health scheme and rescind the Contributory Pension Scheme on the lines of promises made by the Chief Minister and phase-wise regularisation of contract staff.
