Hyderabad: Election code violations for the single day on Tuesday registered a steep hike as compared to the figures of the previous day.
TS Chief Electoral officer (CEO) Rajath Kumar said while a total of a 1,25, 785 violations of the election code have been reported from all over the state so far in respect of public properties, 41,287, out of them were on a single day on Tuesday. He said that these violations related to wall writings, posters, banners and others.
He said in all, 55 cases had been registered so far regarding these violations.
He said in case of private properties, the violations rose by 33, 347 for the day reaching the total of 55,040. He said that the violations in respect of wall writings on public properties numbered 6815, that of posters 57,455 , banners 30, 848 and others 30,667.
