Hyderabad: TRS president and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao brought in new face, Mr Joginapally Santhosh Kumar, as party general secretary as he appointed the state committee after two years
Mr Santhosh Kumar is a close relative of the Chief Minister and has been working with him for several years as personal secretary. He is also managing director of T News.
Mr Chandrasekhar Rao appointed 67 leaders to various posts. TRS MP Dr K. Kesava Rao was reappointed as secretary general. The part now has 20 general secretaries, 33 secretaries and 12 joint secretaries.
For the first time, party general secretaries were made in-charge of Assembly seats Mr Sheri Subhash Reddy will continue as Mr Rao’s political secretary.
The general secretaries are: MLCs K. Srinivasa Reddy. Palla Rajeswara Reddy; Md Fariduddin, V. Gangadhar Goud, Nara-dasu Lakshmana Rao, Mynampalli Hanuman-tha Rao and Bodakunti Venkateswaralu; Karim-nagar ZP chairperson Tu-la Uma; former ministers Basavaraj Saraiah and P. Ramulu; Takkallapalli Ravinder Rao; Dr Banda Prakash Mudiraj; Jogina-pally Santhosh Kumar; R. Shravan Kumar Reddy; Chagalla Narendranath; Nukala Naresh Reddy; Gyadari Rajamallu; Soma Bharath Kumar Gupta; Bandi Ramesh and former legislator Satyavathi Rathode.
