KCR upbeat over Bihar developments, to visit Bihar soon to meet Nitish, Tejaswi

Tejaswi Yadav met Rao in January at Pragathi Bhavan and discussed about national politics

Hyderabad: TRS president and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao was keenly watching sudden political developments that unfolded in Bihar, with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar jettisoning the NDA and teaming up with the Mahaghatbandhan. Party sources said Rao felt that this would be a big boost in forging an anti-BJP Front ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls to dethrone the BJP-led NDA.

The TRS leadership did not respond on Bihar developments nor issued an official statement but the CM was understood to have taken a decision on Tuesday to visit met Kumar and RJD chief Tejashwi Yadav who are set to be sworn in as CM and Deputy CM.

Tejaswi Yadav met Rao in January at Pragathi Bhavan and discussed about national politics and the efforts being made by Rao to forge an anti-BJP Front.

Rao wants to visit Bihar to handover financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh on behalf of the state government to each of the kin of soldiers from that state who died fighting in the Galvan Valley in June 2020.
