The TPCC chief hoisted the Congress flag at Gandhi Bhavan on Friday to mark Quit India Day.
Hyderabad: TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged that the BJP was attempting to misinterpret history and trying to get political mileage by circulating false propaganda on Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. He said the BJP was trying to downplay the sacrifices of Mahatma Gandhi and Nehru.
The TPCC chief hoisted the Congress flag at Gandhi Bhavan on Friday to mark Quit India Day. and said lessons on Nehru’s sacrifices should be highlighted. He said it was shameful that home minister Amit Shah was criticising Nehru in his speech in Parliament.
