Pawan Kalyan Can't Even Step Into Assembly, Says YSRC MLA Srinivas

KAKINADA: The Eluru MLA and the former deputy chief minister Kalikrishna Srinivas (Nani) lashed out at Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan for his critical remarks against Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, as also “against the local volunteers and development of Eluru constituency.”

Srinivas told the media in Eluru on Monday that PK was frustrated over the non-cooperation of the people to his recent state tour and hence made provocative comments against the YSRC and Jagan Mohan Reddy. "Pawan cannot even win an election to the assembly, and he is acting big in politics," he said.

“The people showed no interest in the Varahi Yatra, as the Jana Sena didn’t have any election manifesto and it gave no promises on the development of the state and the people.”

Nani said Pawan Kalyan could not question the irregularities of Janmabhoomi committees during the term of Chandrababu Naidu as CM.

Nani said that Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu were residing safely in Hyderabad without coming to AP. “At that time, the volunteers were rendering tremendous services to the people by taking government schemes to their doorsteps. Now PK is criticising these volunteers,” he noted.

Explaining the development of Eluru assembly constituency, Nani said that proposals have been sent to the government on the setting up of an underground drainage to Eluru at a cost of Rs 150 crore. The works on the new medical college are being expedited at a cost of Rs 500 crore, he claimed.

He said that when the people were suffering from unidentified diseases, Jagan Reddy brought experts from IMR and conducted a survey. According to the report, a drinking water project at a cost of Rs 300 crore would help overcome such problems in Eluru. This would be done.
