Nadda, Javadekar hold meet with sulking BJP leaders in Telangana

Hyderabad: BJP leaders – Vijayasanthi, Vivek Venkataswamy and Chandrasekhar, remained conspicuous by being absent from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s programme in Warangal district. The absence of the trio at the PM’s programme came amidst buzz that they are unhappy with the BJP leadership and are inclined to join the Congress in the coming days.

There is talk that Vivek and Chandrasekhar have already gone in touch with Telangana PCC president A. Revanth Reddy. In the wake of this talk, the BJP bigwigs, including JP Nadda and Prakash Javadekar, Telangana BJP in-charge Tarun Chugh have landed in Hyderabad and would hold a meeting with the trio at Novotel Airport hotel, to placate the sulking leaders.

Telangana BJP leaders, including former MP A.P. Jithender Reddy, Telangana state head G. Kishan Reddy, Bandi Sanjay, would also attend the meeting.

Last week, Modi arrived in Warangal and laid foundation stone for infrastructure projects worth nearly Rs 6,100 crore in the district. He also offered prayers at the Bhadrakali temple and addressed a public meeting on the occasion.
