GUNTUR: YSRC leader YS Sharmila said on Sunday that she “feels sorry” at the condition of Bhuvaneswari, the wife of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Speaking at the YSRC plenary on Sunday, she said that Telugu Desam Party patriarch NT Rama Rao had died due to “backstabbing” of Naidu and Bhuvaneswari may feel the pain whenever she sees a portrait of her father.
Sharmina said that Bhuvaneswari was “bearing with” Naidu due to “mangalyam (wedlock)” .
She said that Naidu was known only for backstabbing. “We have to do “dandam” (salute) to Bhuvaneswari for her patience in bearing with Naidu who insulted NTR and became responsible for his death,” she said.
Sharmila alleged that Naidu was lacking in morals and had given admission to YSRC MLAs who had won election on the fan symbol.
She claimed that Naidu had “no guts” to go secure the defectors’ resignations and call for elections. “He only knows to purchase MLAs with illegal money,” she alleged.
She said that the “corruption and illegalities” of Naidu had been taken to the notice of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
She said the TD had cheated the public including women, students and farmers.
She stated that YSRC would continue its efforts to secure for Special Category Status for AP.
Predicting good days for the YSRC, Sharmila asked every activist work like an “arrow” and campaign among the people on the TD’s failures.
Speaking at the plenary, YS Vijayalakshmi said the attitude of the TD towards Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy in the AP Assembly pained and saddened her.
She alleged that the Congress and the TD had framed her son with false cases. She said the TD was abusing Jagan Mohan Reddy but her son was working for the welfare of public without being fazed.
