Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy calls for liquor ban

He announced nine welfare schemes during the YSRC plenary concluding session on Sunday at Namburu of Guntur district.

GUNTUR: YSR Congress has announced a 3,000 km walkathon and a nine-welfare-scheme agenda. YSRC president and Opposition leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has sounded the conch for elections by announcing a 3,000 km Padayatra (walkathon) from October 27 for six months from Idupulapaya to Tirumala to Ichapuram.

He announced nine welfare schemes during the YSRC plenary concluding session on Sunday at Namburu of Guntur district. He announced a phase-wise liquor ban, YSR Rythu Bharosa, Amma Vodi, increase of social pension amounting to '2,000 per month, Arogyasri rejuvenation, total fee reimbursement and completion of Jalayagnam projects. He announced that the agenda would be implemented immediately after assuming power in 2019 polls.
