Kapu leader Mudragada Padnabham stable, says no to treatment

Doctors say all his vital organs functioning normally.

Rajahmundry: Kapu leader Mudragada Padnabham refused to take treatment at government hospital here on Thursday.

Though he was admitted in the hospital in the evening, he refused to accept any treatment from the doctors. The doctors say that they are trying to convince him to accept the treatment. However, the doctors admitted that his health condition is stable and all vital organs are functioning normally.

Soon after lifting the Kapu leader from his fast unto death at his house in Kirlampudi, he was brought to Rajahmundry and admitted in government hospital amidst tight security.

Though the Kapu leader kept a bottle of pesticide while staging stir at his residence and threatened the police that he would consume it if they try to lift him from the stir, he did not consume it as the police swooped down and lifted him.

The Kapu leader learnt to have confessed to the doctors that he did not consume pesticide though he opened the cap of bottle as the police gave him no chance to do so. However, the doctors as a precautionary measure carried out wash to his stomach and collected blood samples and sent to analysis.

Hospital superintendent Dr Ramesh Kishore said, "We are giving general treatment. All vital parameters in the body are normal.” He is kept under
observation."

A large number of police personnel are deployed at the government hospital to avoid any untoward incidents. Barricades and iron fencing are set up to avoid any agitators to barge into the hospital.

The police imposed restrictions to enter into the hospital and only patients and their attendants are being allowed in. Meanwhile, CID authorities maintain that once his health condition is stable, he will be arrested and produced before CID court at Kakinada as he was involved in Ratnachal express burning cases as the prime accused.

On the other hand, a large number of his supporters are arriving to the city to inquire about his health condition.
