Hyderabad: The response to the Hyderabad Youth Declaration, released by party leader Priyanka Gandhi-Vadra has been really good, Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao said on Tuesday. “We will take the youth declaration to the nooks and corners of the state,” he said.
The BRS hasn’t kept its promise to give a job to every family. “The family of Sonia Gandhi stands by their words. She gave Telangana despite objections by the party leaders and it is unreasonable to blame her even after that,” Hanumantha Rao and added, “We should have insisted on the merger of the TRS before giving Telangana.”
He asked why Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao does not mention the names of M. Chenna Reddy and Madan Mohan who led the first movement for statehood in 1969.
