CM Basavaraj Bommai confident of BJP's victory despite varying exit poll results

Haveri: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai expressed confidence in BJP's victory despite varying results of exit polls.

"Exit Polls by different agencies show different results. But our ground report states that we will return to power with a clear majority," Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said.

Speaking to reporters in Haveri on Wednesday after the election, Bommai expressed confidence in BJP's ability to win despite most exit polls indicating a loss of seats for the BJP and a gain for the Congress, with some even suggesting a hung assembly.

Bommai pointed out that exit polls are not always accurate, with a 5-10% margin of error, and that each organization is presenting different results that are not consistent.

He emphasized that his party has a comprehensive ground report and will win a decisive victory. "Let us wait for the exact results on May 13," he added.

When asked about the possibility of "Resort Politics," Bommai dismissed the idea and stated that the BJP will win an absolute majority, leaving no chance for the JD(S) to become the kingmaker.
