Jaggareddy says K Chandrasekhar Rao is wooing him

Jaggareddy said that the speculation that he was trying to join the TRS were false.

Hyderabad: Congress MLA T. Jaya Prakash Reddy, better known as Jaggareddy, said the relatives of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and TRS working president K.T. Rama Rao were asking him to join the TRS.

Jaggareddy said whether he would be at Gandhi Bhavan or at the TRS Bhavan would be known between May 25 and 30, after the results of the Lok Sabha and local polls are declared.

He said if the UPA came to power at the Centre, the Congress in the state would be a safe zone. He said if Mr Chandrasekhar Rao’s relatives will meet him again between May 25 and 30, he will announce his decision.

Jaggareddy said that the speculation that he was trying to join the TRS were false. He said he had grown as a politician on his own and that his rise was not due to his party banner. He said he would only heed 50 per cent of the advise of whichever party he is in, and take his own counsel for the rest.

He said the state bifurcation had politically damaged the Congress but he did not know much the people had benefited.
