H D Kumaraswamy is the most teary-eyed CM: Shivaraj Singh Chouhan
Kalaburagi: Former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivaraj Singh Chouhan on Tuesday dubbed Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy as the most teary-eyed Chief Minister he had ever encountered.
“The family of Chief Minister Kumaraswamy is into dynastic politics. Mr Revanna is the super-CM. Now, all family members are into politics. Mr Kumaraswamy is the most lachrymose Chief Minister that I have ever seen," he said during a road show across the city to drum up support for BJP candidate Dr Umesh Jadhav.
He also accused veteran Congress leader M Mallikarjun Kharge of promoting his son Priyank Kharge at the expense of second and third rung leaders of the party.
Earlier, speaking at the election rally organised in support of Bidar Member of Parliament Bhagawanth Khuba in Chincholi Mr Chouhan described Congress president Rahul Gandhi as a big liar.
“He is talking about waiving off farmers’ loan in a state ruled by Congress. But farmers' loan has not been waived off in any state where the Congress is in power,” he alleged.
He charged that the Congress was a party of scandals and corrupt politicians.
“The achievement of Congress party is corruption and a series of scams,” he added.
Taking a dig at constituents of Mahagatbhandan for not announcing the prime ministerial candidate, the former chief minister mockingly remarked that Mayawati, Mamata Banarjee,?Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, Deve Gowda and Chandrababu Naidu would occupy the top post each day in a week. "Parties of Mahagatbhandan took shelter under dynastic politics. JD(S), Telugu Desham, Samajwadi and other political parties are not spared from it. However, the BJP has no faith in dynastic or family politics,” he explained.
