Hyderabad: TRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Saturday criticised the Centre for not according the Palamuru Ranga Reddy Lift Irrigation Scheme the status of a national project.
He was addressing the meeting of TRS leaders from Nagarkurnool Lok Sabha constituency at Nagavaram village in Wanaparthy mandal. He dismissed the contention that the upcoming Lok Sabha polls were between the BJP and the Congress and interests of the state did not matter. “Though people hoped that Mr Modi would work for them, in the past five years, the BJP has let people down,” he said.
